Are USA Gen Z and Millennials Acceptable of Their Muslim Peers

According to some research, Generation Z and Millennials in the USA are more accepting of their Muslim peers than older generations. Some possible reasons for this are:

• Muslim Millennials are more likely to be born in the USA and racially diverse than older Muslim adults. .

• Muslim Millennials are as religiously committed as older Muslims, but more tolerant of homosexuality.

• Muslim Millennials lean heavily Democratic, which aligns with the political preferences of many non-Muslim young adults.

• Generation Z and Millennials have had less exposure to formal religious activities and teachings than older generations, which may make them less attached to their parents’ faith traditions. .

• Generation Z and Millennials value diversity and inclusion, and are more likely to have friends from different religious backgrounds than older generations.

These findings suggest that the future of faith in America may be more pluralistic and less polarized than in the past.
