Should law enforcement be required to take polygraph test?

Cops are known to place drugs on citizens especially in low income communities. In such instances where law enforcement officers are suspected of planting illegal substances on individuals, is it advisable to mandate a polygraph test when they assert that drugs were discovered in a vehicle?
